General Deposit
A general deposit is required to secure a place for your child at Sherfield School; this is refunded on your child leaving, providing your account with the school is clear. The deposit amount is:

Early Years Centre to Year 13 Day Pupils - £400
Additional Funding
Childcare Vouchers and Tax free childcare: The school is set up to take childcare vouchers (CCV) and the Government’s tax free childcare scheme. Full details of the appropriate childcare scheme for you can be found on the Government website, please contact the finance department if you need any further assistance. CCV can only be used for fees for the early year’s children but can be used for before and after school care and flexi boarding up until the age of 16.

Please note that Sherfield School does not offer the EYE grant funded sessions (i.e. 15 free hours or 30 free hours funding).

Invoices are issued on a monthly basis.

Our daily rates in the early years centre are based on a minimum three days’ attendance to qualify for these rates, other sessional rates are available when booking in advance for the term. Ad hoc sessions must be booked in advance and can only be used when applied adjoining to the booked daily session.

Reception
£4340 per term / £13,020 per year (core hours - 8:25am to 3:15pm)
  • Daily breakfast £4.55 (£5.15 ad hoc)
  • Pick up at 4:15pm - no charge
  • Pick up at 5pm with tea - £6.80 (£7.80 ad hoc)
  • Pick up at 5:30pm with tea - £9.30 (10.30 ad hoc)
  • Pick up at 6pm with tea - £11.80 (£12.80 ad hoc)
Billing & Methods of Payment
  1. Termly – Fees must be paid in advance of the first day of term or late payment charges will apply. Fees may be paid by cheque, debit or credit card via our website, or bank transfer.
  2. Monthly – Parents have the option to spread the costs of fees over 9 months if a standing order is set up. Please contact the Finance Office for more information.
  3. Invoices are issued on a termly basis only.
Dining
  • Breakfast Club is open from 7.30am - 8.25am and may be booked in advance, or taken ad hoc and billed in arrears. Please note breakfast is served until 8.00am with the remainder of the period made up of the care element.
  • Lunch and snacks are included in the fees. Pupils are required to eat the meals and snacks at school which are prepared and cooked daily on site. Special diets can be catered for.
  • Tea: A more substantial tea is served at 4.15pm, which may be ordered in advance (see charges schedule).
After School Clubs and Activities
After School Club is available from 3.15pm-6.00pm and must be booked termly in advance (see charges schedule). A range of after school clubs are run between 3.15pm - 4.15pm as well as a light tea served after 4.15pm (see charges schedule). Pupils can also choose from activities such as tennis, ballet, judo which are run by outside staff and are charged for separately. All chargeable clubs must be paid for at the time of booking.
